What stays the same

  • Your API keys are preserved and will continue to work
  • Same base URL: api.jup.ag (no endpoint changes)
  • No breaking changes: All existing API calls work exactly as before
  • Same data freshness and latency across all tiers

  • Analytics and monitoring: Real-time usage dashboards, request logs, and credit tracking
  • Keyless access: Replaces lite-api.jup.ag with keyless requests on api.jup.ag at 0.5 RPS
  • Improved API key security: New API keys use a new format and cannot be fully viewed after creation

What’s changed

  • New pricing tiers: Free, Developer, Launch, and Pro (replaces Free, Pro, and Ultra)
  • Credit-based billing: Usage is measured in credits, billed at $1 per 1M credits for overages
  • Fixed rate limits across all APIs: No more dynamic rate limits
  • Billing via Stripe: Payments are now handled via Stripe (credit card or USDC on Solana via Moonpay)

Setting up your legacy organisation

When you sign in to the new Developer Platform with your existing email:
  1. You will be prompted to set up a legacy organisation that includes your existing API keys
  2. You can customise the organisation name and settings
  3. Your API keys will be available immediately in the new dashboard
If you prefer to start fresh, you can create a new organisation instead. You can always set up your legacy organisation later from the Manage Organisations settings.
API keys on the new platform cannot be fully viewed after creation - you will only see the first and last few characters. This applies to both new keys and existing legacy keys once your legacy organisation is set up. Ensure you have your existing API keys saved securely before migrating.

All existing users are mapped to their equivalent rate limits on the new platform.

Grace period

All existing users receive their equivalent rate limits for free for 3 months after the new platform launches. After this period, new pricing will be enforced. You must choose a paid plan before the grace period ends or your rate limit will drop to the Free tier (1 RPS).
Use the grace period to:
  1. Explore the new Developer Platform dashboard and its features
  2. Review the plans and pricing to choose the right tier
  3. Set up your billing before the grace period ends

Billing transition

Helio (USDC on Solana)

Helio subscriptions are paid manually each month. Your subscription will naturally expire at the end of your current billing period, but the grace period extends your access - you will continue to have your equivalent rate limits during this time. Purchase your new plan before the grace period ends.

CoinFlow (credit card)

CoinFlow subscriptions will be cancelled on Jupiter’s end. If you notice continued charges, please reach out via our support page and we will resolve it. You will need to set up your card again on the new platform as billing is now handled via Stripe.

New billing

All billing on the new platform is handled via Stripe. You can pay by credit card (USD) or crypto (USDC on Solana, powered by Moonpay). See Plans and Pricing for details.

Lite API migration

lite-api.jup.ag will be phased out once the new API gateway is stable. The rate limit on lite-api.jup.ag will be reduced progressively until it is fully retired. To migrate:
  1. Update your base URL from lite-api.jup.ag to api.jup.ag
  2. (Recommended) Sign up and add an API key via x-api-key header to unlock higher rate limits and access Developer Platform features like analytics and usage monitoring
All endpoints remain the same. Only the base URL changes.
